Like the COF producers association, the COF 2011 blogging project is a supporter of the EU’s “stop binge drinking” campaign.
Binge drinking became a social issue in Italy as early as 2007. In 2009, the Italian government began to take steps to curb the growing abuse of alcohol in a country known for its relative restraint.
Today, everywhere you go in Friuli (whether online or real life), you see signs and banners posted by supporters of the “stop binge drinking” movement — most of them young people.
